Just a little update.

From talking to Chiggy over PM today, I found this out.

The reason you haven't heard from him is because LVCM went down yesterday... (Las Vegas Cable Modems) which is the control Hub for the Cable users in the city... should be up tonight or tomorrow... if you need him, call him...

So, it seems Jay got called away to fight a fire. An excuse, yet again, but how can you deny em?

But, when I got to thinking about it, if everything has shipped like he claims, what do we need to talk to him for? Tracking numbers? yeah, I suppose, but damn it, mine should be here today or tomorrow IF ALL IS TRUE.

I haven't had a good feeling about this since the end of last week. I'm trying really hard to give Jay the benefit of the doubt. That's a really strange coincidence that the CF Hood GB thread is closed and Chiggy stepping down along with no word from Jay.

The last I heard from Jay was a PM on Saturday telling me that he did have a hood set aside for me. But that was an answer to only one of the questions I had for him. He didn't provide answers to whether or not it's been shipped, a tracking number or when it would be shipped if it had not been already.

Why won't chumpchiggy respond to emails, a whole thread or pm s. Instead of answering questions on a thread in the gp forum, he deleted it. He won't answer questions, he seems to not want to give any info about the guy who is suposed to have our money, and goes out of his way to smash out any threads or people that question what is going on(with the cf hood gp).

All I want are some updates, and to not have you dodge emails and WHOLE threads.

Please Chumpchiggy, can you let us know what is going on, and give us some info on the person who is in control(johnny baek).

yea i bought the wing and body kit for $800 on 10/30/01 ...i didn't retract yet either because im still waiting a couple days...i've been watching this post since the beginning and didn't want to post to add more bitching and drama but now its time

After reading the conversation between Jay and Clone I was starting to get some confidence that we all would have some tracking numbers and merchandise information on Sunday at the latest. Here is it Monday and another excuse as to why we don't have an update.

I'm even starting to doubt the FBI contacting Jay. I know if I was in Jay's shoes and the FBI contacted me I would be dropping everything to get this cleared up ASAP. From personal experience, the last thing you want is the FBI on your ass.

ok as i told...... he gave me a tracking number.. i called UPS CANADA and they told me they were shipped from USA on November 13...... they should arrive to CAnada today (november 20) and i should get it tomorrow!!!! so what i know for sure.....i've something on the way for me..... i guess it's not a empty box :p

He knows he is in some serious stuff right now. If he doesn't come through with the Hoods, or the money ($2500.00 for the hoods alone) He can bet on me leaving him tied up in the desert, just bloody enough so the coyote's can pick up his sent...

I'm DEMANDING answers today... if I don't get them... I'll be going to the FBI myself, with a printout of all the e-mails I've saved on this GP, and reporting him for federal mail fraud...

I don't even think Johnny Baek is a real person.... I think Jason has been making up e-mails and forwarding them to me from a dummy address...

I'm glad I didn't send money now because I would've really been pissed reading these long ass threads everyday. His story with the GP was that his friend's shop order the hoods by accident and needs to sell it cheap.

Now if this is anyway or form legit, he has too many parts (most new) for wayyyy too cheap. A Kamanari Kit and C-One Hood Scoop for $667 shipped? Give me a break. And then when multiple people wanted the same item - suddenly he has just enough for everyone.

I'm convinced that this is a scam.

Well, Jason just called me so, there will be no casino-style killings taking place ;)

Anyway, he assures me he has proof that the hoods from the GP were ordered. He says his credit card company says that a transaction was made and he has to dispute the purchase... he told me he has requested a statement from them to prove to me he ordered them...

As far as the whole "blown celica" deal... that stuff was used, and sold at a used price. I've seen the car, and from what I can tell, most of the items from that post were legit. As far as duplicate parts and so forth, I dunno about all that.

I will continue to give him the benefit of the doubt on this, and I will try and keep you all as updated as possible...

He also said it was his modem that burned out, he is going to get another one and will post up at some point tonight...

Hi, i ordered the C-One hoodscoope, i was the first to order it from Jason.

I sent him 110$ from paypal.

Has i can see there are more 2 or 3 persons that ordered the same C-one hoodscoope.

I feel you. The only info we got was the email of this shop/supplier and it is "Johnnybaek@hotmail.com" which seems a little fishy.

I have asked for phone number, address and other info but I was ignored. I even request the email this guy supposely send to Chumpchiggy so I can trace the location this email was sent from and I was ignored as well. I don't understand if they are all legit, why can't they at least tell us who's our supplier esp. when everything blew up.

I can tell you that with the seats folded down, our Celica can carry a boatload of ****, more than even some family sedans. Limited space is BS, you can requst a UPS pickup of some sort and ship everything at the same time.

If you look into every excuse that have been said, every single one of them seems suspicious and it does'nt hold much water.

Exactly....Clone, with all due respect, do you think we have tried to resolve this through email and pm s? We have, for about a month, and as you can see it has gotten us no where(not to say bitching about it will). I have requested information from Jason, Brian and Johnny Baek and if I get a response it has been very vague and does not address my requests.

Damn!!! I almost baught the Blitz Power Meter from this guy. I was the first one to answer his post and when he reply back I said I am going to SEMA so I will be in Las Vegas so I will bring money to pick this thing up. Later I saw someone said he is happy that he paid for the Power Meter so I emailed him back asking why, he said that his other friend is selling his so when his other friend takes his off his car he will let me know. So I forgot about all this and thought I do not really need that thing so I never replied back, it looks like the whole deal went bad. WTF? There is no need to go and f*ck him up. If you have a problem with this guy ripping you off, take it up with the proper authorities. You can't retract or cancel the transaction if it already has been recieved. You need to file a buyer complaint form. I just heard from paypal after they did their little investigation...it stated that the seller is at fault, and I'm due a refund, but the seller's acount is zero, so they cannot refund my money. That's it, nothing else other than some stuff about auction, which doesn't apply to us. I'm just gonna take it up with the credit card company.

Brian what I was pissed about was that you did not respond to my emails. Guys who paid with a check request the canceled check (cashed check) from your bank, on that you can find out his bank account. With that you can find out some sort of id from his bank to sue his a$$ and more information to give to FBI when you file a complaint. Those of you who sent check post up his info so we can find out how many bank account he has or where he cashed it. Even if he uses those check cashing places they will have a proof of ID in their file somewhere.

Like I posted earlier, the number that showed up on my caller ID was: 702-845-2648 and that is the number that submitted to the FBI, but I also told them that he had multiple numbers and multiple registered names under the phone numbers, paypal accounts, and email address'. Hope this helps,

I suggest the following.

If you are like me and really still want these parts, it should work like this.

- Get your money back thru Paypal. I say Paypal because then you know instantly if in fact the money has been sent. Waiting for a check or otherwise gives him more time for whatever.

- As he said, purchase the part COD, or have HIM put HIS trust in US. He sends the part, you Paypal him when the part arrives.

That's my plan. Even if I wanted to spend the $550 or whatever a new wing costs, I couldn't get one. I still want that thing. I'm just going to leave the steel plate covering my ******* until I see that thing on my doorstep....no more trust.

Oh yeah, and Jason.....

cant chiggy give the IPs and times that he was on that IP to the FBI in the reports... thats what we log them for anyway isnt it.. for fraud and stuff like that. anyway i know even if he doesnt have a static IP that the hosting company keeps a record of dial-in accounts and assigned IPs at certain times which the FBI can for sure get.

I think everyone would appreciate if these IPs are posted here so that whoever's filing a report can include this information as part of their complete submission.

And I also think clone was right, you should NOT trust this guy. Jason I can't believe you even showed your face in here. you really shouldn't be updating people on anything at this point. Either get them their parts, get them their money, or start praying that the FBI won't take you into custody when they come knocking. I called a number of Fiberimage dealers in my area, and I had to beg to even get the price down to $600, I have'nt seen a better price than $550 that's not in a groupbuy. If you're talking MBAutosports or other brands of hoods, yes its aroubd $500 shipped, but its not FiberImage.

Hey guys... I know through all the bullsh!t we've had some serious doubts about Jason and his "so-called" blown celica deal, but he's sending the stuff out. I got a notice today from my apartment office that I have a package delivered via freight, and in comments it says hood. So again, I repeat, I have received the CF Hood, that I bought from Jason. I will pick it up tomorrow and try and grab a digi from work and take some pictures. Keep you guys up to date.

I talked to jason for a while tonight on IM. He said the whole "someone getting a wing" thing was a misunderstanding of whoever said that. He knew of Chris getting the hood....but nothing of a wing. So oh well.

He said basically the same thing as he did a week ago....he's waiting for Terry to get him the parts, he's waiting for CCs to pay us all back.....yada yada....same old same old.

EDIT....and just talking to him, he says Terry has all of the stuff over at his place. Terry PROMISES this time to ship the stuff this week.
