I saw a set clamps on some board that go around the sway bars, which sit right next to the mounting brackets on the inside, that are supposed to keep the sways from sliding back and forth. Anyone have any experience with these on other cars?

No experience. I rely on you for most of my information. :chuckles:

You can do the same thing with a piece of garden hose and a pipe clamp.

Is the bar moving a problem? Mine is quite obviously not centered anymore, but I don't much feel like adjusting it (just so it can move again).

The only prblem with clamping a swaybar so hard is that you induce alot of friction into the bar. The may cause it to be erratic, especially at the limit.

Some kind of washer or spacer could always be put between the clamp and the bracket to eliminate any excess friction that may occur.
