Is it OK to mix and match suspension setup on a car?
For example, can I put a coilovers in the front and just lowering spring and upgrade struts in the rear?

ive had this thought for some time myself. i was thinking more on different coilover systems. Like have TEIN's up front and C-One's in the back.
Just to answer your question though...yes, you CAN put it that way, but it'll make your car behave... differently. The thing with suspension set up is, its the drivers preference. There isn't a right or wrong set up, but you can make it handle BETTER or WORSE. get what i'm trying to say?

I had that for a week or so as I had to repair my rear Tein perches. You can do what ever you want with your suspension as long as the spring rates and bound/rebound setting complement each other.

Unfortunately, the only springs with spring rates high enough to match the average coilover are Hotchkis and C-One (and adjustable springs). Regular springs like TRD, Eibach, and Tein are much too soft.

What would be the best setup for a full suspension upgrade?
