hmm...it depends on what you're looking for.
If looks is what you're looking for, get 18"'s They will fill out the wheel well gap much better than 17"'s.
If performance is what you're looking for, you should either stick with your 16"'s, or get no bigger than 17"'s.

18's are easier to scratch and give you a bad ride, and in my opinion too big proportionally to the celica. i say go wit 17's

19's all the way. That way you will look good, and stand out. Keep the stocks for performance with a high quality drag radial. That is what I intend to do. I have 18's now, but hopefully will have 19's by spring. Just my thought on the subject.

i would say to go with 17's. Only get 18's if your going to enter any shows

Celica is all about performance! Why would you want to get 19" when that slows down the car. Get 17" or keep your stock rims. thats what I'm doin.

well ............ mine is GT, so if i keep the stock rims that wouldn't do, too small .........
i should go with 17" then?
what about the tires?
205/40/17?
ah, so confusing .......... 17 or 18 is already confusing, and then ...... i have to choose which kind of rims i want and what tires to put.
:shocked
205/40/17 is too small(short). I think the choice size is 215/40 or 45/17. 225/40/17 if you get an 8in. wide wheel. I have a gt too, my focus is the handling & not the speed aspect of our cars. I will get 18's if I get a bodykit to keep the wheels from being swallowed by the car.
