I was trying to replace my rear struts/shocks with some tokicos but I can't seem to get the stock one completely out... it hits the drums in the rear before coming fully out. Anyone else have this problem? Is it because my springs are too low?

I usually remove the cluster of 3 bolts on the front half of the suspension arm. The strut/spring pretty much falls out by itself after that.

Is it hard to get the arm back in place? I remember having a hard time with the front, I removed one end of the endlink from the strut and unbolted two big bolts, after I was done I had a hard time getting everything back in place cause it was such a tight squeeze...

IIRC, you have to unbolt the swaybar and the rear UCA before the strut will have enough clearance to be removed. My rear strut basically fell off of the car once everything was out of the way.

Is it hard to get the arm back in place? Nope, you just use a jack to raise it back up, and it should be pretty well aligned once it's back up against the car. I just did that yesterday to install rotors on someone's car (a lot harder with the stock suspension).

Upper control arm.
AKA: camber link, banana arm, etc.
