I got a 02 GTS automatic tranny w/m-mode. I was wondering that if shifted right, the auto in m-mode would accelerate as quickly as a manual. If not, does anyone have an estimate in the time difference? any input would be appreciated.

Not even close. The gearing is way off. The only advantage is that shifting in M mode allows you to rev up 200 RPM higher than auto mode. As for time differences, you're looking at 2+ seconds in the 1/4.

I think the fastest a auto GT-S will run is like mid 16's with bolt on's.
