Ignorant Cops

So check this. My girl and I go wash our cars(She has a pretty sweet Civic HB), after we're both bored, so we decide to go for a drive, show off the cars. So we're driving down the main strip here, and going around this corner there was me in the middle Lane, her in the right lane, and another car in the left, I think I sped up a bit.

So yah, about 10 blocks later I get pulled over, I'm thinking WTF? And this cop is a bitch from the get go, so whatever, 1/2 hr later she comes back, 2 tickets.

1) Excessive rate of speed $103
2) To top it all off my license was expired and I had no idea. $115

So I'm like what the hell is this about? She says she's at Money Mart(on that corner) on another call and as she's walking out she sees me take the corner at an excessive rate of speed, so she sees me in the middle lane, not either of the two other cars, yet I am travelling with other cars so how can I be going much faster then them but I am travelling at an excessive rate of speed? And how do you even notice that just walking out of a building? Like what a bull**** ticket. And I know she ticketed me for my license b/c the other one will not be hard to beat.

In the end what purpose did this serve? Other than pissing me off and making me freeze my ass of with my windows down so I don't get nailed for tint too. Will I be cooperative next time, as if. What a joke, I've got a lot of tickets in my time but I can only think of one other ticket I've ever gotten for something this stupid.

You weren't accussed of going faster than other cars, just travelling at excessive speed...perhaps all 3 of you were going too fast and you we're just the unlucky one to get pulled.

Needless to say it pissed me off, I am gonna try to fight the one, the license thing well I figure I'm hooped just bad luck and stupidity not noticing that.

Still what a bisnatch like we weren't doing anythng and i know for a fact I wasn't even speeding. Just most ppl slow down on that corner cuz we have a bunch of lame ass ppl here driving SUV's.

They can actually get you on this. Its called obedience to traffic control devices, and its easily done with those yellow signs that tell you how fast to take a turn. I found this out when I got a ticket for taking a bend too fast.
