I have a sony P8 and for some reason yesterday it kept taking like double pictures.. and it takes forever to snap the shot.. i have no idea what happened bc it was working fine a couple days ago.

You're in burst mode, go to settings and change it back to single shot.

has sony improved on its shutter speed yet? i was stoked to use that burst mode to capture a golf swing...but every time i tried, the swing was too fast for the camera. it only took like 4-6 shots. :lame:

i think this is the last sony camera i'm gonna buy.. i think i'm gonna get cannon next time. my sister has a 5 MP one that's really cute. but it was like $500.. that's so crazy.. i'll use mines until it breaks.. or until i break it =P i keep fooling around with it.. i'm amazed it's still working hehe

the problem is autofocus. turn off autofocus, set it to manual focus and preset it then snap in burst. It takes the camera a few milisecs to autofocus so thats what the delay is. Its not the shutter speed.

I like my DSC-L1. It's good enough for me. :)

I just wish it had a macro feature like the old U series. I miss that. If it had a great macro lens then i'd love it 100% but for now I give it 95%. :-)
I'm trying to find a U50 but no one seems to have them anymore.

yah that's true! I dunno why this one doesn't have that. Kinda odd!! I still love it tho. :)
I thought about picking up a W series also tho.
