sun roof rattles

my sun roof rattles and i hate hearing that sound when im driving.
i took my car to the dealer and told them about this...
repond i got was amazing.. i was shocked
those guys at the counter said " that is not covered under warranty"
i told them that its a easy fix but they kept saying that they have to charge at least 70$$ for labor. What an ass hole~

I know that Teamunison got instructions on fixing that rattling sound im just sayin that my dealer is being an ass.

How many miles do you got on your car?

If I had this problem... I would find the TSB for the Sunroof and there is one. Visited the dealer and recreat the problem for them. If they say no, then remember exactly what they say and be calm. Call Toyota of America or Toyota of Canada - Where ever you are and start a case. Escalate to a supervisor if you are not getting anywhere. I would think that the sunroof rattling is a manufacture's defect and should covered under warranty - There is a TSB on this.

A guy on Celica.net won his Arbitration against Toyota becasue they could not fix his Sunroof from rattling. Look for Switchex's response.

Have you tried a different dealership? The above points are just some steps I would take if I had the problem.
