TRD sway bars

hey guys i was wondering if anybody have any experience with the trd sways. the toyota dealer wanted to charge me 350 to install them becuz they claim it takes three hours to install the front bar and an hour for the rear. is this right or are they trying to rip me???

sounds about right. Thing you gotta remember is that Toyota will do everything by the book. They won't try to thread the sway bar across like most people do. Toyota actually take the cross member out then install the bar.

I got toyota to install my springs, shocks and sway bars. Took them exactly 1 full day.... thank god I know the owner or else i'll be broke paying off the labour.

the front sway bar is a bitch to install we had to take of the cross member but the back took me like 10 minutes to install so most of the install time was with the front

I was quoted something like 600 for the install so I just took it to the nearest car shop and they charged 150. Kinda pointless to get anything installed at the dealership since you get raped for a warranty you most likely will never use.

hmmmm...i guess i'll find a cheaper local shop then...thanks everbody
