Don't do it man!!!

I have one, it's a pain in the ass. You really don't want to make the same mistake I did. I got it before I knew what good alarms were like. Go to a good audio shop and get just about anything made by DEI (Directed Electronics). They make Clifford and Viper, you'd be fine with either of those.

My Code Alarm goes off for no reason, I can't for the life of me figure out how to adjust the sensativity(if anyone has any tips on this let me know plz), and having a chain place like Circuit City install anthing is risky business.

DEI or you'll be sorry. Audiovox is decent too.

I just installed a viper 771....it's been very easy to work with and I'm happy with it. I thought it was reasonable...but then again, I work retail and got a nice discount on it. :)

A Directed Electronics brand alarm is a good choice. That includes but isn't limited to Viper, Clifford, and DEI.

As far as i know, if you have a manual car, you cannot have remote start anywho. You want something that has pressure zones. The Viper ESP 800 has 8 different sensors if your car is bumped hit, glass broken :headbang:
