Installing second battery

I am going to be installing a second battery in the trunk. I have 1/0 gauge wire run to the trunk already. My question is how to wire it up? Do I need a relay? If so, do I piggy back straight off my (+) stock battery post? Any advice or link to an install would be great. Thanks.

Use a RV Solenoid between two batteries to seperate batteries, yea just jump off the + and use a good ground.
