I ordered the c-one front and rear strut and rear tunk bars from Rey_vibora a little while ago. Took me awhile to finish it up and make it look nice enough till I was satisfied with it.

*HUGE Pic warning. 1meg each, I havn't resized em.
--------------------------------------------------

A couple ?'s:
1: Is a bar with joints in it like c-one as effective as a completely solid bar? The virginia tech car club was jokin' on me because they wern't completely solid (Not that I take their comments to heart).
2: Has anyone had to trim the metal underneath the weather stripping when installing their front strut bar?

---------------------------------------------
Install notes: First off, my car has had front and rear damage, so I think that is what contributed to a few PITA parts I had to deal with.

For the front strut, I had to go a little dremel happy to the metal right below the weather stripping. The bar wouldn't clear it unless I shaved a good amount off. I used rubber hose to cover up the ugly edge (PIC: 609,612,613). Also to note, it does touch the cap beside the battery (I forget what thats for off hand, yea I know no excuse for that ;p), but not so much as to cause a problem. I didn't know if my battery would clear, but no problems there at all.

The rear strut didn't cause any problems at all. It was a breeze to put in. This was the first time I cut my interior plastics, but once I did it I was pleased with the results. I used more rubber hose here to finish the edges. Oh, I also cut the plastics so I couldn't see the bolts for the top bar, and the bottom ones are exposed (So I can easily remove the bottom bars to make it a 2pt bar if need be). (PIC: 605,606)

The rear trunk bar was a PITA. Specifically, the right rear bracket wouldn't fit at ALL. I was rear ended right there, so that problem is something only I would experience. It took me literally an hour to get that bracket to fit properly. I would like to think after forcing the bar in there it helped realign something and will help me even more. :) I cut the carpet to fit around the bracket, and sewed up the edges to give it a nice look. (PIC: 600,604)

-------------------------------
Impressions: This is my first ride and my first suspension mod, but I do feel a difference. At low speeds, nothing is noticible. When I push it around a corner, the body feels... much 'tighter'. Its like the car is more level when turning. Also, it seems like the car is smoother when going down the road. I'm not sure if thats an effect I should feel, or if that is in my head though.
-------------------------------

-------------------------------
Seller: I'm just throwing this in because the seller deserves it. I am one of the most annoying customers in the world. I must have messaged Rey_Vibora 15-20 times just to order these bars with various stupid questions. He answered every single one of my messages within 12 hours. Any question I asked, he had an answer for. He never told a lie, and kept me informed during the entire process (This is a claim I can not make for any other seller I have ever purchased a part from). If this guy has the part you want, screw everyone else and order it from him. FANTASTIC SELLER.
---------------------------------

---------------------------------
CLIFF NOTES: Install was part PITA/a breeze, but always fun. :) Impressions, the bars kick ass, are really shiny, and I like em alot. Buy your stuff from rey_vibora... he is the shiznit.

good job with the install looks really good with the rubber what do you think about the handling? big difference? i'm debating whether or not to get a 3 pt bar cause i like extra room for big stuff in the trunk. Looks really good

Looks good bro;

As far as the bars; their is no difference from a 1 piece as to this ones. Once they are tighten good and in place, the rigidity is the same throughout. The design on this bars were studied and tested for 6 months by Beatrush and C-ONE for the ultimate performance. C-ONE backs this up by using their products for actual competition; which many other companies do not.

Mainly the only difference, would be that the 1 piece bars are just a PITA to put on.

The difference was enough to make it worth it for me. If cost is your #1 factor, I would look for a cheaper alternative besides c-one. I only got a 3point bar because the c-one can be changed to a 2pt if need be. If I couldn't change it, I would have gotten a 2pt.

yeah i got the c-one frnt strut bar and trunk bar:

the frnt strut bar was a lil b***h to install too. but i didnt dremel the weatherstrip part. the metal that the weatherstrip sits on i just used a flat head and bent i t up just a tad to clear the bar. there's prob a couple centimeters between the two...im pleased with it too!!! steering feels more accurate...

edit-the bar does hit touch the positive terminal, but w/ the cover over it and a zip tie did the trick well...and the bar touches the brake fluid resevior(i think thats what it is, its too early) but no big-ee

the trunk bar was a super sinch to install!!!! everything fit well and the bar looks good sitting there......

My pics show you where it mounts. Underneath the carpet and behind the rear plastic is a bracket. It bolts right to the car with 2 screws each side. Then the bar mounts to the brackets. It is rediculously easy. No drilling at all... just 6 screws and your done.

yeah, i read that, but i got the parts with my beatrush underpanel all in the same box so i didn't know..... also, how did you adjust the brake resevoir???

I didn't. You will have to bend the metal or shave it off like i did, but a little pressure on the brake res. cap won't hurt anything.
