hey just thought i'd introduce myself cause i know i am going to be needing alot of help with my new found love. I am a 19 y/o female who has been in the car scene since i was about 5 working in my dad garage, changing oil, and just helping out. I recently the proud new owner of a 2000 Toyota Celica GT-S this is a great improvement from my 1995 Mazda Miata. I bought this car with many modifications already done to it but i do have my share of things i would like to do to it. The car came equipted with a full TRD exhaust, Ingen Cold Air Intake, BS wheels, Fusion tires, powerslot rotors, EBC greensutff pads, Rod Millen front strut bar,Optima Red top battery, Polk Audio speakers powered by a Rockford Fosgate amp, a single BP audio 12" sub powered by another Rockford Fosgate amp both mounted on a three point TRD rear strut bar, Panasonic CD player, Panasonic 6 CD changer, carbon fiber dash accents, B&M short shifter and knob, brass bushings in the shifter, tinted windows, and lastly it has the full SCCA official graphics in the silver and purple. This car is mint, and i love it soo much. My plans as of right now are a full TRD suspension and a lip kit, any other suggestions for me, i am thinking of autocrossing this car and maybe doing some drag racing at the track, well i am so glad to be a part of this forum from what i read it seems like a great group of people, can't wait to start bugging you all with my questions and my learning process.

Well it has a b&m short-shifter, so I would assume 6-speed :gap:

Actually, those aren't the official graphics typically used on the SCCA circuit and the pro celeb races.... but darn close to it. :thumbup:

You coming to the 12th meet katie?? Maybe bring justin too (even tho his car probably wown't be ready).

hey again thanks for all the feed back... to answe some of the questions baldwinville is near gardner, fitchburg area, small town not alot to do it sucks!!
the car is a 6 speed and i love it, i've only got it to 147 so far....kinda got a little scared so backed off...but will definitally try again

i really also want to post some pics of my car on here just tell me how to post pics and i will i just don't know how to yet...

and, of course im going neil my first meet i woulden't miss it...see you there???

147...mine maxed out at 141 :( , but i do have the 02 limiter

In all seriousness, it's pretty stupid to be going anywhere near that fast. :thumbdown
Not that I haven't done it myself :naughty: but still, at that speed... you're just asking for it.

but yea, i dont condone that stuff either and it wasnt like i was racing on a street or anything...just found myself on an open stretch of highway around 2am and you all know where it goes from there
