I've been looking everywhere for model cars, but i can't find any damn new Celica scale models (much less a radio-controlled new celica model). But if any of u guys know where i can get one or order one or something - and maybe gimme a price range, that would be grrreeaaat.

check ebay.. They have model celicas made by Tamiya imported from japan.

Also some are die cast models that you don't have to build made by other companies such as autoart, i think..

just do a search on ebay.. you'll find what you need

expect to pay around 20 to 40 for one.

I bought a Tamiya model 1/24 scale at the local hobby shop for $25. Check your local hobby shop, and see if they can order it. It's a pretty good kit, you can opt for Japanese or American Layout. The only discrepancy is that it has GT wheels, not the GTS wheels.

BTW, they had the model in stock... two of them, which surprised the heck outta me.

Hotwheels has a yellow Celica available for kicks.

I got one at Walmart for 93 cents!

I wish i had the money for the big RC model, but i don't. Soooo I bought Tomica's TINY RC Celica. It's only about 2 inches long, but you can't beat the charge/play time ratio: over 2 minutes of play time for only 45 seconds of recharging!! It's a lot of fun and pretty easy to put together, as long as you are careful with it. FULL FUNCTION, too (forward, reverse, left, right). Look it up on EBay. It usually goes for about $40.

There's quite a few out there actually. I've got 2 of the motormax ones, both in stock form The rde one is 1/43rd scale the yellow one is hotwheel size. Paid 3.00 for both:D. Then there's the yellow Hotwheel one which I still can't find here in San Diego, oh well, I'll be in Scottsdale Arizona for Thanksgiving, maybe they'll have it there. Auto art in 1/18th scale and Kinscraft in 1/24th scale for about 5.00.

Have you checked your dealer? My dealer carries the Tamiya 1/24 scale model kit of the current Celica, the one from the last generation, and the Supra - all $29.99 each. They even have the ones that launch when you pull them back (models include Celica, MR2 Spyder and RAV4 - $9.99 each). They have aftermarket accessories such as an S2000-style antenna mast for $17.00, and some other stuff. Good service too.
