Yesterday just wasn't my day :( 98/55

98mph reckless in a 55mph.. i was speeding to my g/f's house on my motorcycle and airport police got me on laser.. i asked them if they could atleast drop it to 80 and the cop said i couldn't beat the laser.. well, all in all, i'm screwed.. i don't think i'm even going to get a lawyer for this one.. i know my license is going to get suspended and etc.. i told the cop that the speedo was reading 80 and i didn't think that a 250cc. motorcycle can go as fast as 98.. good thing he didn't clock me doing 100+ otherwise i'd be in jail.. any suggestions from any of you speeders out there?!? should i just kiss my ass goodbye..

nah.. i'm gonna try to live all i can until i go in for court.. good thing, its gonna be summer time, so i won't really need a license

I would suggest a lawyer. Seriously. Spend a little but of $$$ and see if he can help you keep your license. You'll probably get hefty fines still but it would be better than losing your license.

They almost got me this week. I was picking up my Mom at Dulles a few days ago, and two cops with lasers were waiting just outside the airport. They got the two cars in front of but let me go.

Seriously, I would hire a good lawyer with experience with fighting moving violations. It would be a lot cheaper than paying the really high insurance rates for the next few years if you lose.

oh yeah.. i talked to this cop today about the ticket and he told me that i'm screwed because i can't beat laser.. and that i'm defenatly going to spend atleast 5 days in jail.. every mile over 90 is a day in jail.. that's what he said.. i dunno.. i don't think i'll goto jail.. but i'm not sure

I doubt you'll go to jail, unless the judge is a real jerk about it. I hope the cop doesn't show up for the court date. Good luck
