They have a short article in the May 2002 Super Street about Blitz Japan, and have some cool pics from Blitz Japan's factory and testing facility on pages 220-228. Check it out!

Is it just me, or does that pipe that goes to the intake look crushed.

Are they going to drive around without a front bumper? It looks like they will need something bigger than stock to fit over that thing.

That pic that keyshawn posted is older than the hills. For some reason ... I dont' know that we'll ever really know, Blitz felt that the existing intake manifold was either not efficient enough or was too space constricting..... not sure which, but like I said, I don't know that we'll ever know.
This is what is also going to drive the cost of this kit up, not only are we getting a full supercharger kit with FMIC, but now we are getting a different intake manifold to boot.....

The old Blitz SC took up so much space that it required that you remove the A/C pump, but the new one has a smaller intake manifold, allowing the SC to fit more easily. The old SC also was NOT intercooled, leading to lots of blown engines during testing.

Another thing driving up the cost other than the intercooler and the new intake manifold is the inclusion of a tuned factory ECU to go with the SC. It ain't gonna be cheap. Damn, we should find someone who can import the JDM version of this SC from Japan. That version, due to currency conversion rates, costs about $4500, which is probably much cheaper than what it will sell for here.

so we cant use our stock fog lights with thi intercooler.
i think the stock bumper will still fit but they just wanted to show it without one.

Hard to tell whether you can keep your stock bumper or foglights with that big intercooler. Unfortunately, they don't say anything about the Blitz SC for the Celica in that Super Street article.

im sure your stock front bumper would still fit, might need some trimming but it will still fit.. as for the fog lights.. prolly not becuase of the piping on the intercooler getting in the way
