i have the kit and im ready to put it in. Any advise? Ive heard things that this kit doesnt work and it does. any help would be great. and for people that have had the zex kit in there car, how did u make it work? Im hearing that it dopesnt work due to the lack of a fuel pressure regulator in our cars, but cant i just get a regulator from summit, would that work?

thanks a lot

take it to an authorized ZEX shop and have them do it.. is it a wet kit? does it have some kind of ECU management or something?

this is exactly what it is, a control box with :

-Throttle, Power, Ground Wires
- nitrous "in" nozzle from bottle
-Nitrouse "out" nozzle w/ jet for installation in cai pipe
-fuel "in"Nozzle -FROM RETURNING FUEL LINE-
-fuel "out" nozzle to be connected to a cai vacuum port

what i capped and marked off, I THINK, is whats stopping our cars from working with this system. if i was to install a AEM fuel regulator w/ a third port for a return fuel line (first 2 ports being "in and out." Does this make sense or is there another way? it is tech. a dry system, i think u guys know what i mean by i think by reading the discription of the kit. any help would be great, thanks a lot larry for the reply, i didnt think id get one :)
thanks again

i honestly couldnt tell you, but i can tell you that since we dont have a return fuel line that kit isnt designed to work with our cars..should have just gotten a Nx kit or NOS kit.. they work relatively simply and are very safe if u use the correct things like window switch

try growing a brain, doing a little seaching, AND THEN go buy a nitrous kit

simple fact. it won't ****ing work!
simple fact two. you'll spend another 1000 bucks in a fuel system to get it to work

does any of this make sense, or is it all clicks and whistles on your end?

i dont see why it wouldnt work, just hook up one vaccum line to an extra port on the TB, and another vaccum line that comes off the FPR, then tap into the TPS sensor.. simple as that.. but i dont know for sure i just got my celica, havent torn the engine apart yet... i had one on my miata, and there were a few tricks you had to do to get it to work properly..

Good luck with that.

man if Bryan H would get a dollar every time he says that the dry system is not going to work, he'd be a millionaire by now.

you can TRY and hook up a dry kit with out the right fuel system {aka a return style system} and see what happens
i already know whats going to happen

there is not an extra port on the tb
there is not a FPR on the fuel rail
its in the damn trunk and is computer controlled

research research research

hey Bryan-what kit were/are u using? The normal NX kit should work just fine right? just the normal kit and then get your safety goodies separately-or am I confused again?

just wondering if u could run down the system u r/were using-can;t find a description of it and it would be helpful.

This is funny...I had this S2000 guy tell me that wet is lame and that I should put a dry on..I told him why it wasnt possible and he just looked at me funny...I hate rich kids with no clue

what i had
single fogger wet kit from NOS, pieced together. started life as a dry kit. ended up a wet kit
big tip, keep the fuel line shorter then the nitrous line.

you should be fine with all the saftey stuff. i didn't have it. i figured if i was going to blow, it would happen anyways.
nothing ever blew up screwed up or self destructed with it.

a single fogger wet kit is pretty much all you need to run with an intake/exhaust to hit 13's
the minimum to put down in hp baseline with i/e is 173 plus 50 {give or take a few pnies due to motor breakin and wear and tear. and other thingies} 220+ hp and 200+ ft lbs
easy low 13's if you can drive. {plus drag radials and or slicks}

cool beans-thanks-been looking at that kit (the wet), and then WOT and window switching it as well-definitely would also add a pressure gauge and remote opener--thanks agian for the info.

I'm gonna buy an NOS kit for my car here sometime. I want a bottle warmer and a remote opener too tho.
