What makes the celica T-Sport in Europe have 192 horses? Better yet, what are the differences between the North American GT-S and the European T-Sport that give it that extra 12hp? Are they valves, the ecu, higher octane gas? I dont know, someone help.

I believe ECU and higher octane gas. Also, It may be 12 CRANK horsepower, but that relates to about 3hp more I believe.

^^yep. Basically they did the same ecu tuning they did for the lotus elise, which also uses the 2zz tuned to 190bhp

You lose approximately 15 percent through drivetrain loss in a manual celi and approximately 23 percent through drivetrain loss in the auto celi. That means they have about 10 whp more in manual and about 9 whp more in auto.
