nice pics. i was there too and im uploading my pics as i type..i dont have a lot for this first day cuz i got there at the end of the celeb practice. hey LB, can u recommend good places to park?

Everything down in the area is expensive. If you want to save I suggest parking at one of the blue line stations with a parking lot and ride the train down there.for $2.70 for a round trip ticket If not try the parking along Pine Ave. but it will run you about $15-30. Are you going on Sat and/or Sun? I'll be there all weekend

u know what sucked? we parked at a lot 1 block from the main gate for $15. when we came back a couple hours later the price was $5. last year we parked at the catalina landing and rode a free shuttle, but this year the lot isnt offering to park.

im only going until tomorrow, though. cant afford the ticket this year and cart seems to be losing all its appeal.

actually its gettin a little better since Pooks around now and that qualifying is more interesting. We'll see next year when they change the engines.

If you want go to the around queen's way or harbor plaza you might be able to find parking and take the red bus to the other side or just walk it.

For all who went....

who thought it was funny as hell when goldberg misshifted. (had to have been a mishift) announcer said he car stalled, transmission problem......LOL!. He's to big to be handling that car.

at first i thought that goldberg faked the car problem cuz he got passed fair and square by chris masterson but i also thought misshift when they said tranny problem.

yeah, i heard on the news about an hour ago that he ended up with a cast on hs wrist... they said that after the misshift he started beating on the car...

any on the show "eye on la" ( i believe thats the right name) chris tidus was making a crack on william shatner(sp?) because he blew his engine like 3 times(guessing before). he also said that he(chris tidus) pulled a "shatner" himself... i'm guessing these too would be misshifts.

I think the Celebrity race will get its own show on ESPN on the 28th of April. The CART telecast only has highlights

i checked ESPN's website. Sunday April 28th, ESPN, 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM. set your VCRs! I know I will. then im going to capture it and i should have the files online the next day if i can have some webspace?
