cracked headlights

Both my headlights are cracked from stone chips. Anyone have the same problem? Do you think warranty will cover this?

Mine has held up fine. You can always go to the dealership and ask. I'm pretty sure they are going to say no because it's not Toyota's fault that they cracked ( or yours). It's like paint chips, these things just happen.

Think you are out of luck. When I had my leaky CV boot replaced (which is covered by warranty), they said that my warranty did not cover it since it looked like a "rock" hit it.

My headlights cracked too. Feel the outside of the headlight. If it is smooth, take it back to toyota and have them replaced. My headlights looked like rocks hit them, but the outside of the lens was smooth. If a rock had done it, then it would have left a ding in them. Mine were from a very cold night, and just turning on my lights. The bulbs are very hot and the light expands, making them crack. Toyota told me that they have had a few cases of this before. Hope this helps! BTW, if u have aftermarket bulbs in, put the stock ones back in before u go to toyota!

oh...if ya'll do get replacement headlights...i'm VERY interested in buying ur old ones. REALLY interested. but don't jack up the price just because i want it real bad....
