Hello all just wanted to let people know that with the black supra we have been building went 9.52 at 156mph on drag radials.

This was at the gainseville track, first nhra import race.

Finals are tomorrow, more to come.

No NOS, just all boost.

from what i understand the Black supra is an auto. Crazy stuff... ahah im glad i live near by the shop but too bad i dont have any money. ahah

Bottle, how much does it typically cost in aftermarket modification to get these supra's into the 9's in the 1/4 mile? Are these 9 second supra's streetable?

This black one is a stock 6 speed tranny.

Yes both car's in the 9's.

The supra will be in the 8's on street et's.

Bottle, what kind of things can you do for the Celica? What kind of things would you have in mind? If I said I wanted a streetable Celica that was capable of hitting 12's in the 1/4 mile with full interior and every thing on street tires, could you do that for me? What kind of modifications would you do to achieve this? There is practically nothing out for the Celica, would you just custom make every thing? In a theroretical estimate, how much would the modifications that would need to be done cost in total? I mean, how much do you think it would cost to make a Celica a 12 second car?
