pardon my spelling.
but i hqve a question.
when i floor it in first and secont gear going up hill my rev limit kicks in at 7 or just below it is weard. all other times it is normal.
my dad says it could cut off at a sertain tork level or if it strains to mutch.
i know it is not due to the temp because it has hapend after driving for a wile too. even on a small hill to.
is thiss normal???

no thats not normal.. your 2nd cam is activated by oil and temperature.. if your saying the car is warmed up then check your oil level..

Yes, check the temperature, if the needle has moved up 2 positions or more you can go above 7k rpm. Otherwise there is a revlimiter. There is a page discussing this in your car's manual.

i have only hit the cold rev limiter once, i'm very careful about that usually...however i floored it a few days ago when my temp gauge went up 1 tick, like right after, and it went into lift fine. that's never happened before, last time was when i hit the limiter....i have royal purple in there. i guess everything was still hot from earlier in the day.

well i will check my oil.
what i am talking about is it will cut off lower on ha hill even if it is warmed up.
because it cut off higher just a few minitus before i went on the hill.

like i said.. check your oil level, the only other thing is make sure that you are giving the car alot of throttle..the 2nd cam wont engage unless you are under heavy throttle
