GTS to GT

Since I totalled my GTS I have been looking for another manual but no such luck. I was wondering if I got a GT if I would notice any difference in between the two.

But just driving around will I feel much of a difference other than lift. I mean do both models drive the same untill lift?

No they don't. A GT-S is a monster in all gears, and a GT is gutless. I just got rid of my GT and got a '04 GT-S and it rocks. The GT sucks ass without serious mods.

you'll hear the GT rip through the gears because of the trq, but i think basically the 40hp and lift...

you'll feel that the GT will have more torque compare to the GT-S

GT will have better low end. GT-S feels great on lift. I went from an Auto GT to a 6 Speed GT-S and now back to an Auto GT. Just depends on your driving style. As long as it is a Celica, it is a great choice.
