After taking my car to Autozone, the reading was P300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire. The tech said it could be a sensor on the intake that is off, and that i'd be able to notice very easily when a misfire occured, and i never have. He said most likely there is no damage to your car taking place, but i'm not really sure and figured i'd ask the experts here. He said the only way to fix it, would be to get all new sensors and ECU and so on, which would cost a TON. Any ideas? Should i see what the dealer has to say (i know they'll blame my injen cai intake). Please, advice.

There is a TSB for this (they will replace your ECU and injectors). Check on it and see if it can be applied to your case.

Does it act up with your stock intake on? If it does, it's probaby something that Toyota would fix. If not, it's probably your CAI that's causing the problem.

make sure your filter has been oiled. My aftermarket filter wasnt. I got the same code. Toyota cleared it and I oiled the filter. Hasn't come back since. Good luck bro.

and on that TSB.. i personally wouldnt risk the fact that the dealer may replace your ECU with one that would lower your fuel cut to 7700.. not fun

My rev limiter is already at 7800, so i dont think it'd be a major difference, and i could ask if it is the 7700 one. This just came up recently, and it was while i have Injen CAI on, so im not sure if it would occur with stock intake.

I just cleaned, and oiled my filter today, and it seems to sound deeper and to be running better, but only time will tell. I'll check out the TSB's thanks for the advice.
