the other day m,y friend just picked up a brand new WRX with the STi package and he had it for like 2 days and he had just about 100 miles onm it and i was chillin with BlueBomber at the time so u guys can ask him ...anyway i see my friend sitting in his car ata store and we go over there and he tells me that soime guy tried parking this big *ss boat int h spot next to him and slammed right into the right front fender of his WRX and popped my friedns tire and crackjed his rim and smashed his fender..i felt soo bad and the guy justy wrote down his info and left it on my freidns car....damn has anyone ever had this happen to themm..my car was backed into but barely any damage haoppened...but still they should make thos big boats illegal on the street..they are more dangerous than us..hehe

Leaving the info like that and going is still illegal, isn't it? Doesn't he have some obligation to report it himself rather than leave info (which MAY be false) and take off? Hit and Run, and all that ?!?!?!

I would think you have to contact the police. I'm not sure though :P I suppose as long as the info is good nobody give a crap

You can leave as long as you leave contact information. What if someone was on vacation. You also don't have to contact the police unless someone was injured. I think this guy was very lucky to have a note with the guys info. I know people who get hit and never find out who did it. Most people will just run.
