replacing center console bulbs

One of the bulbs w/ the green cover sleeve under the AC controls burned out. How can I replace this bulb? Can I replace this bulb with a better whiter bulb?

you can just take off the green sleeve, or you can use LED's....


i have 6 blue led's back there and it looks good.

thanks guys, instead of buying some bulbs (74) i think im just going to use some LEDs

I still have to install the LED's from that GB. Remember, the 180 degree angle LED's you posted about a while back that can potentially light up the entire interior, let alone the HVAC controls? Yeah, I'm teh lazy.

And how do you do that I would like to have blue back there and I had the bulb covers but they sucked. Pics and a step by step on this would be nice man.

well here's what i did....


i went to Fry's electronics and picked up 2 packs of their "MGE Laser LED's." These LED's can be found in the computer modification section along with other mod stuff for computers such as neon

the stereo is a lot brighter on the display i have it on, but it has a dimmer built in.....

the HVAC controls still light up brighly though.
