I like the rims :-)... I only got 215 width tires and I wish I would have gotten 225. Otherwise I love my setup...

Here are my Kasai's.. Hiper Black style. I love'em and get compliments on them all the time. They're 17X7 and riding on 235/40/17 tires.

Just wanted to know ... How much does the rims weight?
more than 19lbs?
Also, do you scrub your wheel well with 235-40-17?
thx :D
bullet1- Nice pics I've been hunting some like yours for awhile.
need4speed- Do the 235's scrub at all? Been wondering would they work for a while, especially on a 17x8.
mksgts-How much are the hmc's compared to the other finishes?
Nice pics bros. they are all tight.
Prices & places if you guys don't mind.

i payed 1800 for mine and they came with toyo proxy fz4's. i think bullet payed around 1400 im not sure so mine were around 400 more. i got mine at townfair tire only because i got a hookup or i would have bought mine from the same place as bullet. plus the place where bullet got his didnt have toyo and i wanted toyo but no big deal..

I got my wheels from whalen tire in montana.... shipped to my door. www.whalentire.com
MKSGTS is right... I paid $1390 shipped with Yokohama Prada... 18x8 with 215/35/18.
Thanks for the comps, I love the wheels and I think they weigh about 24 lbs. a piece.

No, the 235 does not rub for me at all.. I can't speak for 18X8 though.. dunno if it makes a difference. BTW- I paid $785 for the rims shipped from Michigan in a group buy on groupbuycenter.com (without tires).
Need4speed: U da man! Thx!
I was wondering which tire size I should go with the ADR Kasai 17X7...
215/45ZR17:
- Sidewall: 3.8"
- Diameter: 24.6"
- Circumference: 77.3"
- Revs/miles: 819.0
and/or
235/40ZR17:
- Sidewall: 3.7"
- Diameter: 24.4"
- Circumference: 76.7"
- Revs/miles: 827.0
Both size are within 3% of stock. For now I'm leaning toward the latter size (235/40-17) but I dont wanna dish out money only to find out the tires are scrubing.
Would it be a viable option to have 2 different size of tires on the car? Like 215/45 in front and 235/40 on the back...
Opinions? :D

how in the hell did you fit a 235 tire on a 7 inch wide rim?
i thought the widest you could go on a 7 wide rim was 215. maybe i was wrong. ?????
