Do they even sell celica's at toyota anymore?

over the last year i havent seen one celica at a dealer. did they stop selling them?

They still have some 05's around where I live, but not many.

All they usually have are GT's. When I traded mine in recently they only had Celicas on the pre-owned lot and even then there were only 2. My auto gt-s sold off their lot pretty damn fast considering it was an auto. I guess they are in high demand.

They are also going to stop selling them in the UK / Europe as well :( but will continue to sell the small / family sized cars Doubt i'll buy another Toyota as I perfer the coupee. Keeping the 7 for a project car.

Yup, only 3 GTS in the whole state of Florida according to the Toyota dealer networked database as of three days ago. One is auto and the other two MT but only white. This is why I am thinking about keeping my 00 GTS and just put the mods on it if I do not get the WRX Sti.

In my area in long island, ny i havent seen a gt-s at the dealer since i bought mine. but i have been seein them alot more on the road, i hate that, and i could swear i see a whole lot more in my town after i bought mine!! not many gt-s though :cool:

There are a few toyota dealerships here in tucson, but only one i've seen are at the auto mall. This is the reason they are stopping production.

Same thing happened with the 6th gen. It had a run from 1994-1999 but they hardly existed after 97. Not even advertised in dealer ads or mentioned on commercials although EVERY other Toyota was. It is actually kind of amazing they didn't axe the car back then. I don't know how popular it was in countries that got the GT-4 though.

The 7th gen did give the Celica one heck of a comeback for the first few years.

Here in Canada there is a few I've seen at the Toyota Lots, but only at the downtown locations. Most of the other dealers said all celicas are *special order* now. If they don't have it, they can get one for you.

Here in Tucson, I have not seen a new one on the lot since I bought mine 2 years ago, and I think they had one. I live around the corner from one of the Toyota dealers here and pass by everyday and if there is a celi on the lot its usually gone within 2-3days.

yeah, I have contacted many dealerships in Florida and Texas and nada. They all try to steer me to buying a Scion TC. I guess they do not understand that I am asking for a celi and If I wanted a TC I would ask for that. I guess if you have to special order the celi, you would have to pay top dollar.

MAN! why did they have to discontinue them....i was soo close to trading in my gt for a GT-S Thunder Cloud Metallic, with the Action Package, oooohhh that drove me crazy. i will trade a kidney for that car.

hell, I even asked the dealer here to special order me a celi and their inventory manager said they could not special order cars that are no longer in production! And this is from a dealer that knows I recently bought a Scion Xa from them for the wife...
