That's not your timing belt, it's your drive belt and powers accessories such as the water pump, oil pump, alternator, power steering, etc.
As said above, the timing chain is in the engine and deals with timing.
If you belt is loud, I would try replacing it with a new belt. I have heard good reviews from the Gatorback belt, but any should do.
The problem is most likely your belt tensioner and won't hurt anything, it's just annoying. You can get it replaced if you are under warranty, or just deal with it.

Spray WD40 on the belt. It might make the noise go away unless it really just needs to be replaced.

Both use timing chains. That's not your timing belt, it's your drive belt and powers accessories such as the water pump, oil pump, alternator, power steering, etc.Oil pump is run by the timing chain. :p: Serpentine belt? Yes. Spray WD40 on the belt.NO! WD-40 will eat away at the belt. Some people use belt dressing, but it tends to get messy. I just spray mine with Vinylex, and the noise goes away for the day. :)

The belt's life will be shortened, and it will start cracking sooner. I wouldn't bother with the AEM pulley kit, since all it's good for is draining battery power. Just get a Gatorback belt.

yeah, I go a Bando and it is ok but I wish I had gotten the gatorback.
By the way, the 19mm bolt you use to release tension off the belt can be a pain. Mine was stripped by someone before I bought the car and i ended using a long crow bar lodged between the bolt and the body and it worked pretty easily...better than messing with the bolt.

you can get the gator back at places like autozone.
also if your belt makes quite a bit of noise then you should replace your belt tensioner.
