I'm not sure if you had this problem also...
I was messing around with light bulbs in the car trying to swap them with LED long time ago... I've must have short-circuit something....
So for longest time I had no black lighting for radio(or it was flickering).... no light by the cig light.. and no dome light..
There were way too many wires to chase around....
So recently I got a spare part which was the whole interior fuse box...

Now everthing works.....
It was little pain in the ass to figure out how to get it out with out take out the console and dash as least as possible.....

From now.. more LED modding begins...

This worked for me.

That fixed the radio and climate control backlights.

As for the dome light, one of the wires going to the dome light (or its fuse) probably came ungrounded. I assume you checked all of the fuses including the slender multi-fuses.

Wires short circuit for no reason it seems in our cars.

Was there any visable damage to any wires behind the fuse box when you replaced it?

You didn't cut any store wires or short-circuit any wires??

Everything looks fine.....

Your problem probably was one of the large fuses (at the top of the fuse box picture). I've had this same problem before. I had partially shorted out one of the 4 circuits on one of those big fuses. You couldn't really see it unless you really really looked closely at the fuse. Once I noticed it, I went to the dealer and got a new fuse. Problem solved.
