saw the G35 tailight conversion celica

i was on the freeway and saw it pass me on the other side. looks widebody but could just be fender flares. he painted it baby blue and i saw the g35 tails when he passed. looks like he just finished it so ill be seeing it around more im sure. so hopefully get some pics of it.
the tailights look like they flowed really good for some reason

I always thought that stock taillight on Celica feels little dingky....
Now it looks well balanced in the rear.... More I look at it I like it more...

This is one tailight swap I will give two thumbs up to on a Celi...looks pretty awesome.

its a different guy i think unless he painted his car blue and changed the front bumper to the normal veilside bumper.

I wonder how well those would look with an APR Widebody kit. Take widebody, those tails, maybe lengthen the car a few inches, balance the front with new rear, give it rear drive or al drive, and a 3S-GTE, and I'd lay down the R&D costs to make it the 8th Gen.

Yeah, you're telling me. I ran a search on google and discovered that a company named Euro Star makes aftermarket LED taillights for many cars, but none for Celica's. A lot of the tails they make look OEM style too, which is a big plus in my book. I really wish they would make a set for us.

I'm surprised you haven't done an LED conversion on the stock tails yet Dooly. I thought you would have rigged a circuit board in there somehow. ;)

Yeah all the luxury sedans/coupes now have LED tails, which looks really cool. I really like the look of the 3-series led tails /w clear look. Wish those aftermarket guys come out with some for our Celis!

I quit modding the Celica for long time....
I went back to stock... even took off the CF hood and TE-37, Veilside exhaust.. etc...
Couple month ago.. friend of mine just bought a 05 RSX-S.... that inspired me to go back on modding and working on more LED ideas and since RJ is stop making gauges.... so I might just pick it from here....
If I do LED for my tail light... it's gona be ghetto job....
First of all I don't have money to make it like OEM type... so it's just gona be simple PCB with bunch of LEDs on it...
Now I"m thinking about making PCB for the AC control.... I got a problem that draws up the circuit board and this company can print and make them to your specification.......

As long as I can prototype the circuit board... mass producing them isn't hard.. since there are alot company that makes them to your specification..
It needs to have good designe and simple as possible to make it low cost to mass produce them.....

For the tail.. if you really want to make it simple.. just drill some hole on the flector part.. and start plug in the LEDs... and wire them all togther... :)

those 2 cars sure have a lot of similar exterior mods. tail lights, gt, MY03 or higher, gas cap, veilside sides and rear, fenders.

Yeah I've seen them. I was hoping they would make a set for our car too since they've made so many versions of the standard tail for us, but I don't see any "coming soon" descriptions anywhere.

He used the coupe's tails.

The sedan's have a slightly different shape and is 4 pieces altogether, whereas the coupe is 2.
