VVTL-I in Tunnels

Don't you guys love hitting VVTL-I in tunnels?
It sounds soo bad a$$ cuz it's loud and it echoes like crazy.

right now I have an Injen CAI and Muffler combo, and it sounds really cool.

I keep the RPM at 5K until i hit the entrance of the tunnel and mash it so it hit's lift perfectly.

people always look to see what that "scary" noise is.

also sounds nice when ur on the highway in the left lane next to the concrete divider, with your window down

I love the sound of the vvtl-i in the tunnels with my AEM CAI, but it's even better with my Kazuma exhaust. OMG! It screams like an F1 race car, I wanna find some tunnel I can video tape my car going through, especially a log tunnel. That would be swell! :) Oh, but I need a video camera. Damnit!

That reminds me of a couple times. One time i was riding with my dad on his motorcycle (loud as hecK) and we drove by a family on their bikes and right as we were passing, one of the little kids like tipped over. I dont know if it was because of us but it was good ass timing! Another time in my friend's Rx7 we did the same thing except it was an adult lady and when she fell over she was screaming :P

If you guys live in LA you prolly know that long ass tunnel before LAX. Drive through that with your exhaust unbolted and you'll feel like you're driving an indy car :P

the other day i was turning left and going under a bridge. there was this civic with his windows down and his gf in the passenger seat. i took the left in first and punched it at it was screeeeeming past his car soo loud. i loved it soo much. everyone looks at me like im crazy when i do that.:)

i bet all them gt-s owners wake up in the morning and cry over the fact that they dunt have drum brakes in the back....:chuckles:

this honda accord owner i know sat in a gt-s once and loved it... "mini turbo (aaahhhh)" gave it madd props haha... lift is nice. drum brakes are better. :rofl:

this one time i was in BADTOYO's car.....there was like a mightty max mitsubishi pick up from the 80's in front of us maybe 100 feet. so raul punched the gas......hits lift.....and we see this guy in the truck look up in his rear view mirror, started to swirve crazy back and forth, off the road...we never got within 70 feet from him and scraed him ****less, we had a good chuckle.....the guy went speeding weaving in and out cars he thought we were going to kill him or something.....it was so so so so funny.

yeah, I go to Spartanburg, SC to go cruisin a lot
and i hit lift where the big crowd of people are with cars. then i hit the lift, not a single head stays, everyone turn around and stare and point "what the hell?, V-Tec? in the celica?

then i yell "VVTL-i " mutha****as!!!!!!!

it just sounds so nasty
and i have a friend his name is Platinumcelica on the board
he has injen CAI and kazuma.

man, his car sounds like a bike from far away and F-1 racing car right next to u

Man theres a long assed tunnel on HWY 4 going from the bay area towards the valley.. you should try that one out, its like a mile long or something. I need to go back there and see what my celi sounds like in that thing now :D

why do car alarms go off around loud noises... i especially hate it durin the morning when the garbage man picks up the trash and my neighbors alarm sets off :mad:

Can't beat what I did going home from work going down parts of the actual course of the Long Beach Grand Prix and hit Lift at Shoreline dr. (Front Straight/Pit Area) and also at the Back Straight then down shift and turn into turn 9 and hearing it off the concrete barriers. (Well, actually being in a race during the Grand Prix weekend would be even better!).

hitting lift past honda dealers is the best...make all the customers rush over to the nearest toyota dealer instead.

That tunnel near LAX is badass! I just haven't been there with my Kazuma exhaust. I'll have to visit it again ;)
