How much of the engine plastic covers do you have to remove to install a turbo? If you've got pics, I'd like to see 'em.

I would probably remove all of the engine plastics in preparation for a turbo install.

It matters where the intercooler piping routes in ur turbo system. If it doesn't go to the left of the engine, then u don't need to remove your plastics.

I think he's talking about cuttig plastics to run intercooler piping. To answer your question, its like a glorified CAI install.

You have to cut some pieces out here and there for the plastics to fit with the intercooler piping. It's very easy to see when you put them back on.
Anyone know if the COne/Brashboy underbody panel will fit with the C2 kit? From the pictures I've seen of it I don't think it will.

Maybe I should clarify a little. I meant stuff like the valve train cover and the covering plastics on top, how much of that can you keep after the install. Like, do you have to lose them all together, or are there some you can keep?

Looks god, you two. I don't know, I like being able to show off everything inside, but I think I like them on better.

i'd try and make it look as stock as possible incase you get pulled over.

i was thinkin of that an makin another plastic to cover the piping over the filter but once they hear the BOV sound off most cops will know somthing is up. Once they pull you over an look in the front chances are they will see some pipes.. The sweet thing bout my front bumper is that you hardley see the pipes un less you get on your knees an look around.. either way you'll get F'ed in the A if the cop wants to..

I don't think cops around here care about aftermarket turbo's. I live in a small town south of Chicago, not Cali, so I'm not worried about that.
