Looks interesting :) Maybe have him code Apexi generic PowerFC boost controller in there so we can use PowerFC to control boost as well (not sure if it is a possibility)...

WOW... I really like the interface and how it explains so much more than the FC-Edit does. IMO the interface is much more user friendly for newbies and veteran tuners alike. The guy doing th all the programming seems to be a very smart guy figureing out all the quirks and bugs with the fc-edit. He said he is trying to add more functionality to the software and make his own box at nearly half the cost of the FC-Datalogit. The best about this software when it is done it's totally FREE! Im going email or PM him and bring his attention this-a-way so he can get the 1zz/2zz stuff working.

Someone suggest auto tuning where you only have to put in A:F parameter from a wideband O2 input versus each gear each specific rpm... That would be pretty cool feature for street tuning good enough to a dyno shop where you can fine tune the puppy.

I can't access any of the files. Also, I'd like to understand why that guy thinks the FC Edit software is wrong/buggy? I'd like to get him working on the Celica version and I'd be glad to give feedback.

http://www.fctune.com/download/B18Cv4.10.Dat That is a arbitrary Honda map.

http://www.fctune.com/download/FCTune_0_41.exe This a partially working version of the software, it only shows how some of the features work.

Reading the Hond-tech thread he spoke of a few gripes he had with the FC-Edit. He PM'd me back and said as soon as he starts working on the Toyota PFC's he will register here and post about it.

Sweet. I was going to post there about the interest frmo here and hopefully get him to register here and post about the Toyota version. I think what we should do is try to pull some guys from Spyderchat and MR2OC over to this forum so that we have a centralized place to discuss the ZZ applications with this guy.

VERRRY interesting, I was contemplating programming a version to use with the datalogit, as the FC-Edit is made with VB (One of my strong programming languages). I'd like to get a hold of that direct cable from the PFC to the laptop that he will be offering. That would make it much easier to install into my Carputer. I can't wait to see the results here!

EDIT: I wonder if this will solve the VVT tuning question. If he manages to create a formula in the software that will allow degree inputs of VVT, that would save all of us a bunch of headache and dyno tuning!

something like this should be added in somehow. It would make tuning cam angles on the street easier. Instead of looking at actual numbers, it actually measures acceleration and makes a curve of the acceleration. I'ts a long read but gives some good insight. I'm not sure how the k-pro measures everything, but I'm sure we could somehow bring this over to the PFC.
