Just checking to see if anyone has done this... maybe this may be my cure to the severe loss in power? Pics would be greatly appreciated.

What happens when your ECU (in my case an Apex PFC) doesn't sense a difference in oxygen readings after the cat?

every one i know with a turbo car dont have a cat(including celicas and matrix with the 2zz), specially with the power fc you will not have to mod the second o2 sensor because it does not use it for anything
its best to not have a cat, maybe you will need to tune it a bit because of the increase in flow

You want to have fun, try this:
Get an O2 bung installed in your downpipe. It will cost like $25 and you can have a plug in it most of the time. This also allows you to put a wideband O2 there if you get one or for tuning. So now that you have your bung there, screw your front O2 into and remove the rest of the exhaust (unplug the rear O2 in the car and pull the grommet back through). Talk about ****ing loud, but it sounds awesome. With that crappy XS map, you'll might get some surging in first and second like I did.

The second O2 is not used with the PFC. PFC = OBDI = no after-cat O2

correct. look at my down pipe, its 3" all the way back and the 2 bungs are for the factory O@ and the AEM wideband

Exhaust shops will have them. The plugs are basiicaly just like the threads on the O2 sensor.
