19's? :nono: You gonna kill your cars ride and acceleration completely...
Unless this is a trailer queen, go with 18s with that kit... I personally wouldn't go bigger than 17s on my car.

The celica is a slow car BEFORE you put on 19's, and it's going to stay a slow car AFTER you put on 19's. But with 19's it's a NICE looking slow car. I don't know how you define "cleanest 19's" - but I like the ones I've got...

Then you're either going to have to widen your fenders to accomodate 10x19's or something like that. Or get something like the TSW thruxton wheels which are made to look real deep, even tho they're not that wide.

those are alright...19's would probably be too much to deal with so our best bet would be sticking with 18's

19s are overkill on a celica. Its all for looks. Functionality, speed, handling, etc...its crap.

do they really compromise the speed and handling that much? I wouldn't think its that extreme..

I love my 19"s, they really make the car stand out more, but they are all right, it doesn't handle as well and the ride quality is worsened. The thing I noticed the most is when your over non-new pavement, its loud as crap in the cabin until you get used to it.

I think 19's look great with the Veilside kit. I could never pull 19's off on the TRD kit, even if I wanted to.

I think the tires are at fault for the loudness when you're going over smooth surfaces.

that and with the larger tire/rim they are alot closer to the wheel wells so debri makes alot more noise when being kicked up, especially on sticky new tires and when u live on a rock road, when i first drove out i thought i was going to tear my fender wells to ****
