change oil too much?

i change my oil every 2000 to 2500 miles? can you change your oil too much? the oil is pretty dark by the time i change it, so i dont think that its too bad.

the only bad thing is the cost and extra wear and tear on the oil pan fittiings and lower shield .use a full synthetic 5w30 and a premium filter and change every 3000 miles you cant go wrong......good luck

yea i use syn and chang my oil every 3000 miles. i just like it to be clean.

i use the toyota filters, and mobil oil. its a little more than $20 something per oil change.

Dark oil after only 2000 miles...

You may want to send in an oil sample for analysis, just to make sure engine is alright.

shoot... i change my oil about every 5000 miles, and its fine. Changed the oil in our 1990 corolla every 7500 miles for 10 years... it ran fine, never gave us a single problem.
