I've had my celica for about 4 years now and I haven't lowered it or bought rims...i have a greddy exhast and Injen short ram intake...my question is, what will work well with skunk2 coils...what i've heard is that tokico shocks and skunk2 are a good pair. i also dont want to loose the ride quality. anyone have any info? my budget is around $500.

Definitely don't pair up Tokicos with Skunk2s. They're one of the weaker aftermarket struts out there, made to handle only 1.25", and can supposedly sustain 1.5". Koni Yellows would be the best, since they're stiff enough to handle the Skunk2s, but still only able to drop the car 1.5". KYB AGX might also be good to use.

thanx Blue bomber...how much would the koni's cost? and i'm just looking for a 1.5" drop...how about ride comfort, will the rode be rough or almost like stock?
man if i only had the dough i would get the Tein SS.

Konis are about $500. The ride will be noticeably stiffer, but shouldn't be uncomfortable. The Skunk2/Koni setup should be very close in performance to the Tein SS. Only downside is you won't be able to go below 1.5"
