Scraped underbody of my car

So I was driving out of my friend's driveway which is almost like a hill and I hit the underbody of my car while going over it. It sounded pretty nasty like 2 pieces of metal scraping against each other. I was pretty mad at myself and I tried to forget about it but I keep having this feeling like I messed something up on my car. You guys think I could have broken anything underneath my car? Thanks.

Im sure your quite fine. I've hit my exhaust on things a few times, maybe it was that. If your car is lowered which it probably is for this to have happened you will have to expect that once in a while. Unless your goin 80 on the LIE and you hit a hole and slam your tranny into the ground and spray oil all over the place (like my friend did) you should be fine. :)

you probably just ran the rails against the concrete... nothing to worry about, the problem is if there is some type of projection that could hit in between the rails

are you on wheelchair? or are you physically disabled? can you not bend over and look underneath ur car to see if anything had come loose or if anything is hanging down.... most likely nothing is damaged!

Oh, ok. Well yeah, you probably cracked the protective shell of the fuel lines and probably ripped one of the ABS lines, maybe dented the midpipe restricting the exhaust flow. Your car is gonna blow up.

exhaust would have taken the impact. Just get under there and pull around on it, see if its lose. scraping your exhaust is not going to do any real damage. a friend of mine has a 3 series bmw and a very steep driveway. whenever he drives out theres two noises - a nasty scraping noise as the front bumper scuffs against the concrete - then a thunk and a scrape as he knocks the exhaust. Two years hes being doing that everyday and still nothings gone wrong.

look underneath cna check it out. its proabably your exhasut though that scraped.
