Ok well as some of you know i've been having problems w/ my lift for a while it used to be only after my car was driving for like 20-30 mins. This morning on my way to work 10 min drive it stopped working. But i also noticed my engine fan was running when i got out and it was at the 3rd/4th notch on the temps. So i'm woundering if anyone knows weather or not engine temp is on of the readings the ECU checks before going into lift? Also is i possible that the oil is too hot? It has a lower limit but and upper one also? Well i'm grabing at straws here guys but i'm not taking it to the dealership till i'm out of ideas. ok thanks guys

Yes, lift will not work unless coolant temp is 140 degrees or more.

I asked if there was an upper limit to the coolant temp not a lower one. I know the oil temp/press and coolent have lower limits what about upper ones?

The only help I can offer is that I've never had a problem with higher temps. Lift has always worked for me; the highest I ever see my guage is in the middle, 3rd bar up I guess, maybe 4th. The weather has been pretty cool until this week, so the engine shouldn't be too hot, unless you never shift out of 2nd gear :)
