please help seat removal with side airbags?

I have to remove my seats due to water in the car so that I can clean everything all I have to do is disoncet the seats right i don't want to set off my airbags..

The key thing to remember before doing anything with the air bag system is to disconnect the negative battery terminal first then let the car sit for 10 to 15 minutes before you disconnect any air bag connector wires.

Leave the negative battery terminal disconnected while any of the airbags are disconnected, and do not re-connect the negative battery terminal unit all air bags have been re-connected and completely re-installed back in the vehicle.

If you mistakenly re-connect the negative battery terminal while any of the airbags are disconnected you will trip the air bag warning light and you will have to go to the dealership to have the system re-set to make the light go out.

Also; when handing air bags be very mindful of static electricity; ground yourself out by touching some bare metal in the car before touching any of the air bag wires.
