hey you guys think that a GTS 6 speed would have any chance against an automatic 04 [or 03?] accord EX coupe? i dont know if the manual tranny and the weight difference of about 800 lbs would be enough to level out honda's 60 hp advantage... would it be a pretty even race?

but if its a 6spd Accord--no contest accord has it. I seen a Celica GTS get a head start and it still wasnt enough. In stock form the Accord V6 6spd runs 14.1 14.2's.

H22's are known to fail. con rod bearings, piston ring cracking to be a few.
Preludes are more enjoyable to drive, especially the 2nd gen ones they discontinued. though they have heavy torque steer.

My friend has an I/H/E Prelude and its a blast to drive - more stable than the Celica and better grip but less transition ability, Celica would smoke it in the slaloms and a straight line.

As far as the V6 accord, the 200 hp one is a joke, the 240 hp one is NASTY fast for a FWD NA V6, and will easily own a Celica.

yeah. i raced one at the track( 8th mile track) the other day, i beat it though. i know he had a stick and dual exhaust. i got a 10.3024 (shi++y reaction time....1.204seconds) and he got an 11.5758. all i have is exhaust and intake, luk clutch, ground wires.. and a six speed. i dont know how fast auto celicas are but, heres to give you an idea.

Who said anything about street racing??? I take mine to the track all the time and barely ever street. I don't need your respect buddy, and don't care if you believe anything I say. I could sit here and own you like the WRX fanboys, however it isn't worth my time. Everything I post, I can prove. As far as the drunk guys? They were DUI, not necessarily drunk. I never got blamed for the accident although I was afraid I was going to. Get your head out of the sand before posting.
