Well just ordered my teins off ebay for 114 shipped so they should be here next week. I was wondering how much it would be to install and get an alighnment check. Im thinking my local dealership can do it cheap seeing my dad works there. How much was everyone elses and does anyone have pics or opinions on how the ride quality and clearance issues are. I have the ww front so those who have that would be the ebst input! Thanks. I have 18s too so id like to see what my wheel gap will be.

Dealership install would be like 700. Noone is going to have any idea how much you can get them installed at the dealership for. If you look around springs should only cost 150 to install and then you will want an alignment. I havent looked into alignment costs but I would figure about 60.

Hmm well i work there and im friends with most of the mechanics so ill try to get an estimate monday whenni go into work. I dont think me and my dad would be capable of doing it. I also have to get an alignment for my rims so i may wait on that until i get my springs installed. I dont know ill ahve to c.

You don't need a special alignment for new rims, only for suspension changes.

:werd: install should be cheap. 65-100. alignment should cost around 80-120.

I just brought tein springs too 1.4 drop. Have not installed them yet but having my friend. He's charging "25 bucks". I was wondering how much of a ride quality would I have and clearance for 18's after they settled? How soon do I need to get struts also? Thinking about KYB's

I was thinking about just using the stock sturts for awhile until they wear out. That's what all the shop told me and my friends who have drop their card. Then I guess go with agx's. What do you mean wait on the install of the springs with my stock sturts? Do you mean wait on the install on my aftermaket sturts and use the stock springs first?

Not trying to steal the thread but as stated about....how long can stock struts last with a small drop like TEIN?

^^^You shouldnt need new shox with a Tein drop its only 1.4in, stock shox can handle anything up to a 1.5 in drop anything lower you will need aftermarket shox. I had my Teins on for almost a year n the ride quality is still very smooth, I had to get a camber kit though to correct my negative rear camber, its prolly because I am on 17's
