no, not at all. Arospeed made one similar to that. More for looks. It's a waste of money to me though.

because it's universal...it's not made for any car in particular...thanks for bringing this up. I forgot to add it in my earlier post. That's why this product sucks. Prob made of plastic or something.

Ive seen them in other cars and they werent bad, attached to seatbelt posts and went around. But those cars didnt have a center console all the way back like we do. Unless you cut a hole for the bar to pass through youd need one that goes around the end on the console.
