Who all wants a EVO VII when it comes out!

since the celica is getting snubbed by just about every aftermarket manufacturer it looks like im going to get a lancer when they come out.

Actually I would rather have a Subaru Impreza WRX STi when they import those, that is if we're talking AWD. Otherwise, my top choice would be the Mazda RX-8 or Nissan Z.

the reason they aren't seen is cause they are all at the race shops broken... Mitsubishi reliability... UHG.. Don't get me started... Sold my old mitsu for this celi.. won't ever go back to a mitsu... So how you like your mitsu Larry? hehe....

After hearing my toyota tech friend about how unreliable Mitsu's are. I changed my mind about getting the EVO VII. He told me to stay away from Mitsu and just stick with toyota and honda.

It's tempting to just go buy the EVO VII when it comes out, a kick ass ride that can really kick ass out of the dealer.

My brother owns a 2ndGen AWD DSM. It spends alot of time on stands since things breakdown on it (Blown engine, flywheel, turbo, etc). I thinks it is because he races it hard.

The insurance on the car is pretty expensive. Can't even imagine what the insurance is going to be on the EVO VII at that price range and power.

I would rather get a used Corvette or M3. I'm also keeping my eye on the 350Z.

i dont really feel like getting into this dicussion again but the fact of the matter is no one company is tons better then another when it comes to reliability.. Toyota or Mitsu or Honda.. etc etc.. If you beat on a car constantly its going to break.. and people dont buy AWD Turbo Eclipses to not beat on them..

They will be hard to get at first, and the price will probably be jack a little for the fast and furiour crowd. But there will finally be a stock import again that can whoop up on alot of domestic muscle cars. That should be fun for the import vs. domestic crap.

I personally have my ey on the Mini Cooper S. Hopefully, in a year the hoopla will have died down a little. But for the price, it is loaded with a lot of great technology - good ole' BMW behind it. And the aftermarket for that car should be great since it is such a cult classic.

That's cause the Mitu team needs a damn driver! There was a comparison in Automobile(?) magazine - a UK mag - that did a comparison and the EVOVII beat the STi in every catagory.

Besides, the EVO looks so much better! ;)

Oh and maybe we should all be hounding Peugeot to start selling cars in the US again...since they are totally kicking ass with their 206. Man those are cool little cars!

no matter what, evo is still a mirage to me. I don't care if it does 10 seconds stock. Its still a mirage with a different engine. Even though it was an evo first and the U.S fux0red it up with its 72hp engine, lol.

IMO, still looks like a replacement for the mirage. Stats are very impressive on europe models but I think that US model wont be
as impressive, hence Id stick to my celi

how about this. for the millionth time, you can get an evo 7 right now. www.evolutionimports.com , you can also get the civic type r too. the us won't see the evo 7 us version. we will see the evo 8 offically come here. if you want a 7 (which by the way, is NOT detuned and is making out to be much better than the 8) then contact them. yes it is 40g for them. but if you want to be exclusive and have a sweet car, then don't complain. personally, i feel that the evo looks better on the outside but the sti's interior is much nicer. LOVE the suede sti seats. if i had the money though, i'd proally get the sti only because it would be warrantied better than the evo 7 and the fact that it will kill the evo 8 from what i've been hearing about the new changes.

i'll take a lancer or an sti. I love the look of those rally beast :). i think i like the evo 6 better but i'll take a 7. and also i like the last model imprezza also with the long rect headlight instead of circle ones. too bad the u.s. never got a turbo version of it. its all good i don't have that kind of cash anyway lol

That is not the one that will be coming here. For now the US is getting the regular one with the old headlights. Fugly, and very cheaply made. All EVO for me. IF that new Euro Sti came over than i would take a closer look at it. Hopefully it isnt as cheap as the current WRX.
