My dad is going to get me a car, and Im trying to convince him to get me a Celica, and although hes never seen one in person..just by looking at the pictures I show him he assumes that they are very small, and not safe in accidents ect..

Does anyone have any saftey information or anything else I may be able to use to help convince him the Celica is a good car for me to drive?

Also..a little off-topic..are there alot of Celicas by where you live? Because I rarely if ever see them on the road down here in south Florida..

4 star frontal impact, 3 side impact, 5 rollover resistance (one of the select few that got 5; the other 5 star cars were all convertibles, I believe). Besides crash protection, you can also bring up crash prevention. The Celica can outbreak most cars on the road with its stock brakes and tires. 60-0 in 110ft beats a lot of cars, including some exotics like some Porsches. The handling, steering response, and highway lane change speed are also top notch in case you need to quickly move out of the way of some idiot. ;)

I fortunately haven't had the opportunity to test the safety of the 7th gen Celica but unless a higher power is watching out for me I think I can say it has kept me out of a few close calls.

I did walk away from a ~50mph wreck in my 6th gen. I felt good enough about how it performed to go on and buy the current model if that tells you anything.
