I have a question for any one ?
2000-2005 celica gts came with a h.i.d option
I just wanted to know if you could take the gts hid and put them into a gt with no problems
If any one could reply i would really appreciate it. thanks

i dont think they came with that option, or at least ive never heard of that. but you can pick up a kit for 300-400$

03+ only had the option. The swap should be pretty simple to do, all you'll need is most likely the housings, bulbs, ballasts, motors, and adjustment knob for the interior. You should also be able to get away with just the housings, bulbs, and ballasts, and manually adjust the beams.

:werd: Oh yeah I think the harness changed as well so you would need to swap the wiring harness to.

just do a HID Retrofit, i should be done with mine in about a week.

thanks ,but i just called Toyota today and they told me they could do the hids
for $400 installed

What?? You mean they are just installing something that you got from another car or what?? They can't be selling you the parts and installing them for that as the lights themselves will run you easily $400-$500 without all of the other crap.

ya maybe they ment 400 for installation only. because your looking to spend about 300 for blubs and ballasts, 4-500 for headlights and about $50 for hid harness. installation is free if you do it yourself which is not hard by all means.

The headlights themselves are around $500 or more just for the housings. Adding the OEM bulbs, ballasts, and motors would probably put it over $1K.
