I ran at the 1/4 mile a 17.7 I NO ITS HORRIBLE. But I got the WC Toyota Turbo that has 235 hp/and 195 lb torque to the flywheel. What do you guys think I would run in the quarter miler with 6 psi. Thank You and Im sorry for such a newbie question. Thanks

how and why are you still asking newbie questions when youve been around here for ages??? you should know that no one here knows.. no one here has it, so its impossible to know..

if that's at or around 10 psi, think high 14s if you're lucky. maybe better depending on other factors. too many unknowns.

ACTUALLY IF YOU GUYS WOULD LOOK ON WC TOYOTA YOU WOULD SEE THAT IT SAYS 235 HORSEPOWER AND 195 LB OF TORQUE TO THE FLYWHEEL. AND YEA I WAS JUST TRYING TO ESTIMATE THE TIME I WOULD BE RUNNING DONT BLOW UP AT ME I WAS JUST WONDERING IF MAYBE SOMEONE COULD GIVE AN ESTIMATE. AND I DONT HAVE THE TURBO YET BUT IM THINKING ABOUT GETTING IT.

damn you guys are harsh...
235 to the FW will bring you around 195-200 WHP...
that will give you mid-low 14's...
you guys suck

thanks jotan, you really think ill be running low/mid 14's, alot of people i have talked to said mid 16's but, isnt it ever 10 horsepower .1 of a second. it that will give me about 80 more horsepower which would be about 16.7 around they? Thanks anymore info.... thanks

with 6psi on an auto gt and your current time was 17.7, you will be lucky if you break into the 15's. Im guessing 16 flat if your lucky. Thats just not even worth it. so not worth it.

Might break into the 15s? I agree..It isnt worth the expense and everything else. On the crappiest track i have ever seen and in year round hot weather we have people doing low 15s with stock GT-S and Matrix Xrs. Your gonna pay how much for the car and then, the turbo and you might beat our times by a SECOND! Very not worth it.:( :(

i think those numbers are incorrect guys. i think you will be low-mid 15's in a turbo auto gt with about 200whp.

well id say if you had everything stock and the only mod was the turbo. you would probably be running low 15's. but one guy that ive chatted with has a gt auto turbo with mods such as i/h/e etc... and he runs mid 14's. i think he told me he was pushing around265-275 at the crank.
wth would you waste your money on boosting an auto

265-275 at the crank and only pulling mid 14's!?!?! Damn, talk about something not working properly there.
Even if he does have an auto GT, 275 hp is still 275hp on a light car....times or HP doesnt add up!

how the hell did he get I/H with a turbo? either way, i think you guys are really underestimating what an auto can do. That boost in torque is gonna real help that slushbox tranny, and if they are makin 190 whp out of an auto GT, its still WHP, so he would probably be lookin at at least 14's

usually all the piping and stuff is custom.. I guess i mistook it for a CAI. we often get people saying they have FI with a CAI and sheeit. Kinda amusing.

i/h is intake and header. turbo cars dont have headers.. they have turbo manifolds..

and my thoughts on this.. auto GTS with 50 shot runs mid 14s with ALOT of work, including tranny work and what not.. if we are dealing in fly wheel hp here figure 180+50.. (basic riceboy math :)) and your looking 230flywheel hp.. if your auto GT was making the same youd prolly see a little less as the redline is lower and you have no tranny work done.. im figuring high 14s to low 15s..
