And it is niiiiiiiice. Doesn't really feel too notchy. The install was pretty good, with the hardest part being the little cups. Greased the hell out of it, put it all back together in just under an hour. Shifts really well, goes into reverse no problemo.

Nah I find its really smooth. I bought it used. I literally greased the HELL out of it. Like totally covered all the contact points with grease. Maybe that helped....

I love my SS, too, although I have B&M. I'm so used to it, though, that it doesn't seem like it's short throw, it seems normal. It'll be weird next time I drive stick that doesn't have a short shifter.

For those that have the TWM SS, I strongly suggest you get the weighted shift knob that goes with it. It improves the throw and shifting. It actually assist with the shifting and makes it smother and less of a push/pull during the shifts. I know this because TWM sponsored me with the SS and the weighted knob. I felt the difference instantly. Plus, they have some really nice clean knobs. http://www.twmshiftknobs.com/

if i had the cash i would ;) my current knob is a bit taller then stock so for me the height difference helps with the throws as well. i tried with a stock gts knob and it was a bit harder
